Fantasy tennis explained: starters, alternates and the Bonus Ball
How fantasy tennis works: 6 starters and 2 alternates, prices from the rankings, the Bonus Ball, switches and every way to score.
Fantasy tennis follows the big tournaments of the year. Your players score as they go deeper into the draw.
Your team
- 6 starters and 2 alternates on a budget of 100.0m.
- Prices follow the live ATP and WTA rankings.
- Alternates replace starters who withdraw before playing.
The Bonus Ball
One player is your Bonus Ball and scores double. Choose someone you expect to reach the final days of the tournament.
How points are scored
- Points for every round reached.
- +2 for every ace.
- +10 for a win in straight sets, +20 for beating a much higher ranked player.
- 2 points off for every double fault, 10 for a set lost 6:0 and 20 for a shock defeat.
Switches
You get 2 free switches per tournament and unused ones roll over, up to 8. Every extra switch costs 50 points.
